Hector Navarro, Founder and Chair

Founder & President

Hector Navarro is the Founder and Chair of Brass City Gamers, a leader dedicated to empowering youth through esports, STEM education, and digital literacy. With a background in cybersecurity, IT, and digital education, he brings expertise from his work at Pratt & Whitney and his service as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Hector has also served as a Waterbury Board of Education Commissioner and a Board Member at Connecticut Esports, championing technology access and education policy. His mission is to bridge the digital divide and equip the next generation with career-ready skills through gaming and innovation.

Rafael Rosario is the Interim Executive Director of Brass City Gamers, a digital media expert, and a committed community advocate. Since joining the board in 2014, he has been instrumental in developing innovative esports, STEM, and digital literacy programs that equip youth and adults with real-world tech skills. Rafael has designed multiple educational initiatives, including programs on content creation, AI understanding, and online safety. His leadership and passion for technology and education continue to drive transformative opportunities for the next generation.

Paul “DigitzTheHouse” House is an educator, content creator, and mentor dedicated to empowering youth through technology, esports, and wellness. As a key collaborator with Brass City Gamers, he leads Python coding and esports classes, helping students explore tech skills and career opportunities. With a background in digital content creation and dance instruction, Paul brings a dynamic, hands-on approach to teaching that promotes both digital literacy and personal wellness. His mentorship inspires young people to pursue their passions with confidence inside and outside the classroom.
